SERC NEWS - DEC 2007 SERC Central Committee agreed that no changes to ride will be permitted. If a Branch has to cancel a ride for any reason then it may not be re-scheduled. Pleasure rides may be added into the calendar with a minimum notice to General Secretary of 21 days this information will be circulated to all Branches. Trooper Series confirmed as: 25th May 120km ER Hillhead, Lothians 13th July - 80km ER The Fling, Highland 16th August 80km ER Caledonia Challenge, Oatridge 21st September 80km ER Forest of Deer, Grampian Capercaille Inter Branch Challenge 28 & 28th June, Perth, Tayside SERC pleasure riders achievement award plaques to be awarded as follows to the horse and rider combination: Completion of pleasure rides in 5 > 6 different Branches Bronze Completion of pleasure rides in 7 > 8 different Branches Silver Completion of pleasure rides in 9 different Branches Gold Awards per ride season and eligible combinations must be registered as a pleasure combination for the complete season. Branch archivists will monitor these awards and they will be added onto the annual ask with plaques being presented at the Club AGM each year.
