This will become a complete record of what that horse has achieved along with a running total of successful mileage completed to date. The card shouldn’t be handed into admin when you check in but completed after each ride when you get home.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eVet sheet –\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/strong\u003e This is the sheet on which is written all the information from the vet/competent person checks at your rides, along with your start/finish times and your result. There are different formats for Taster/Pleasure, Competitive and Endurance classes. You will be given a copy to keep at the end of each ride.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eTalkround -\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/strong\u003e This is a printout of information guiding you around your route and will be sent out with the ride information.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eLoop -\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/strong\u003e This is the term used for the route you will take around your ride. Each of the different distances/classes offered at the ride usually has a designated colour on the map.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eMastercard – \u003c/em\u003e\u003c/strong\u003eThe card issued along with the Horse Log Book. All competitive and endurance classes that have been entered along with each result will be noted on this card. Note Pleasure and Taster classes should NOT be included. These points are also for your safety, so that your last location can be verified frequently.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eCrew -\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/strong\u003e These are the helpers you take with you on ride day, who might or might not meet you en route at the crew points. Not all rides have designated crew points but on those which do not, your crew are just advised to exercise common sense and follow the Countryside Code.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eVetgate -\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/strong\u003e Longer rides (50km+) have at least one additional vet check mid ride, to ensure that the horses remain in good health.
